Security* Never admit anyone into your home unless you know who it is. If you have a solid door, install a peephole.
* Closed drapes during the day usually indicate no one is home. Leave them open when going to work, or have a friend take care of your house while gone.
* No matter who they say they are at the door, ask for ID!!
* Whenever you mislay or lose keys, get the locks changed. To simply change the cylinder alignment and make new keys is inexpensive.
* Keep separate keys for your house and car. Valet parkers should NEVER be given anything but your car key.
* If you keep firearms in the home and wish advice in that area, e-mail me. Most of the ladies don't want to talk about guns and shooting people or NOT shooting them!
* Keep an inventory (off premises) of all your valuables so they can easily be reported to the police and the insurance company.
